How long do extensions last?

With proper care and depending on how often they are worn, styled with heat and washed, our human hair extensions should last you 6 - 8 months to a year. Remember that heat can damage human hair used in the extensions just like it can damage our own hair. Therefore use heat in moderation, especially on blonde hair that was already bleached to achieve the tone of blonde.
 

Will extensions damage my hair?

Clip in hair extensions will NOT damage your hair. They are a great alternative to permanent extensions that require weaving, braiding and gluing which can indeed seriously damage your own hair. Clip in hair extensions are a safer and less damaging process done to your hair as you can simply INSTANT length and volume in a minute without doing any damage to your hair. 
 

What type of hair does Sandimez Hair use?

Sandimez Hair extensions are made of only the BEST & HIGHEST quality of hair available on the market. They are 100% Remy human hair that does not tangle, shed, or matt, and is processed to adapt to all your needs. Sandimez Hair extensions can be cut, colored, washed and styled with high temperature hair tools such as a curling iron or flat iron.  Just remember that heat can damage human hair used in the extensions just like it can damage our own hair. Therefore use heat in moderation, especially on blonde hair that was already bleached to achieve the desired lightness. 
 

How are they attached to my own hair?

Sandimez Hair extensions set comes with 8 wefts that are attached to your hair with small and secure snapping clips sewn onto each weft of the extensions. You can easily clip these in and out yourself any time. The process of putting them on roughly takes 3 minutes to attach and about 1 minute to take out! Will hair extensions work with very thin hair?

Absolutely! You will need enough hair to lie over the top weft to cover it. Backcombing the hair above the top weft can help hiding it. Backcombing and hair spraying the hair where you will attach clips helps to make the clips even more secure.

How do I care for my Sandimez hair clip-in hair extensions?

You should shampoo and condition them with mild products. Hair extensions do not get as dirty as your natural hair so you do not have to do this often, only after every 20-30 wears. Brush the extensions before washing them. Wash each weft separately holding it at the top to avoid tangling. In order to keep them looking healthy and shiny for longer, let the extensions dry naturally and do not brush them until they are completely dry. It is recommended to use a deep conditioning treatment on the extensions every time you wash them. Always use heat protection spray before applying heat to your extensions.
 

Can Sandimez Hair extensions be colored?

Yes they can be colored. Please keep in mind that it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten it, so when hesitating between two colors, always choose the lighter color.

Since the hair used in the extensions was already colored to achieve the desired shade, we do not recommend bleaching the extensions, only tone them down. For the best results we recommend having the extensions colored professionally. 
 

Please feel free to contact us if you need any help with color matching and feel free to send us a photo of your hair taken outdoors in natural light, ideally from the back and showing the ends. Such photos are the most realistic and since it's the ends of your hair that blend with the extensions, the color of the extensions should match the color of your ends.
 

Can Sandimez Hair extensions be cut? Use heat on them?

Yes and Yes! They are 100% human remy hair, so you can treat them as you would your own hair (with proper care of course). No damage will be done to the hair at all.
 

Can I swim while wearing my Sandimez Hair extensions?

It is preferred that you do not swim with your hair extensions as they might tangle with your natural hair in the water. Also Chlorine is not good for your natural hair let alone hair extensions. If you do wish to wear them to the pool or beach, you may do so but try your best to not let the water touch your hair. 
 

What’s the best way to store clip-in hair extensions?

Sandimez Hair extensions should be stored in a dark place away from direct sunlight. You can either store them horizontally in a tight sealed bag, or vertically attached to strings of an extension holder or you may roll them and store them in the original packaging.
